The Epilepsy Society Brain and Tissue Bank is a collection of human brain tissues (and in some case additional blood and fluid samples) from patients with epilepsy, including those who have had neurosurgical treatments.
A dedicated epilepsy brain tissue bank also means that we can form collections of samples from people with rarer epilepsies, to help research into specific types of epilepsy and other disorders.
For epilepsy researchers, pathologists and other professionals, the Epilepsy Society Brain and Tissue Bank is an established UK tissue archive, a central resource and a research facility.
