LCTC Post-Trial Tissue Bank

The collection consists of samples and data collected from individuals who have participated in clinical trials managed by the Liverpool Clinical Trials Centre and who have given informed consent for the use of their samples in translational research activity. The samples and data available fall under five core malignancy groups: •Hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) cancers •Uveal melanoma •Head and neck cancers •Breast cancer •Lung cancer Samples stored in the collection include, but are not limited to whole blood, cell pellets, tissue (tumour and healthy), plasma, peripheral blood mononuclear cells and urine. Samples will become part of the LCTC Post-Trial Tissue Bank upon completion of the intended primary translational objectives. Linked, anonymised data includes demographic, clinical and fully audit tracked laboratory data.
