Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Biobank

The Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Biobank is managed by King's College London and is a repository of samples from patients from dental clinics at Guy's and St-Thomas Foundation Trust and within the wider King's Health Partners trusts. Samples collected include salivary, microbial, gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) samples, buccal swabs, blood samples, hard and soft oral tissues, tears and stool samples from patients attending new patient/consultant clinics. The biobank also collects demographic, clinical and quality of life (OHIP-14) data.
